Yes. If you intend to purchase securities during Initial Public Offer (IPO) or on the secondary market at the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange PLC, you must have a CSD Account.

The CSD Members or Depository Participants Issues Contract Notes after every purchase or sell of any security at Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange. The Contract Note is generated from the CSD Systems.  CSD Members can also issue Client Statement as at any given point in time.
